1. About Bulicano and this policy
Bulicano is a pre-launch healthy-food store concept being validated with families around Vaishali Nagar, Jaipur. The store is not open, and this website does not currently sell products or provide medical or dietitian services.
This policy applies to this website, the Bulicano demand survey and messages you choose to send using the contact links on the site.
2. Information the survey collects
Required survey responses
To submit the survey, you must provide an email address and answer questions about your location in relation to Vaishali Nagar, shopping frequency and channels, approximate household spend on healthier groceries, shopping frustrations, preferred product categories and store benefits, expected use, price expectations, likelihood of a visit, interest in overseas products and willingness to take part in a short research conversation. Choosing “No” or “Maybe” for a conversation is permitted.
If you select “Other locality” or say that you want an overseas product considered, the related explanation is also required.
Optional information
Your name, WhatsApp number, other-category explanations, comments about what would build trust or prompt a visit, and consent to launch updates and founding-community invitations are optional. You can submit the survey without agreeing to promotional updates.
Submission information
The form includes a source label and spam-trap field. The form service also creates submission records such as the submission time and an internal submission identifier.
Please do not put diagnoses, medical records, test results or other sensitive personal information in any free-text field. The survey is for retail demand research, not individual health assessment.
3. Why we use this information
We use survey information to:
- assess local demand for the Bulicano concept;
- understand shopping behaviour, category priorities and service preferences;
- compare location, pricing and visit-intent patterns;
- contact you about a possible research interview only when your survey choice indicates that you are open to one;
- send launch or community updates only when you select the separate updates checkbox; and
- protect the form from spam and investigate submission problems.
4. Consent and withdrawal
You choose whether to submit the survey and whether to consent to launch and community updates. You may withdraw your updates consent, your permission to be contacted for an interview, or your consent to our continued use of your survey information by emailing info@bulicano.com. Tell us the email address used in the survey so we can locate the response.
Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before we received and acted on your request. After withdrawal, we may retain limited information where reasonably necessary to record the request or meet a legal obligation.
5. Where information is stored and shared
Survey submissions are processed and stored through Netlify Forms. The website repository is also configured so that verified submissions can be forwarded through a private webhook to a private Google Sheet using Google Apps Script. That forwarding occurs only if the Google Sheets webhook is enabled in the live deployment.
Netlify and, where that forwarding is enabled, Google process information to provide hosting, form-processing and storage services. Service providers may process information in countries outside India under their own infrastructure and contractual arrangements.
We do not sell your contact details. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect the website or its users, or to advisers and service providers who need it for the purposes described here.
The WhatsApp and email links open services outside this website. If you use them, the information you send is handled by WhatsApp or your email provider under their terms and privacy practices.
6. Retention and deletion
The current technical setup does not apply an automatic deletion schedule. A survey response remains in Netlify Forms and, when the forwarding described above is enabled, in the private Google Sheet until Bulicano deletes it or the relevant service removes it under its own terms. A formal retention period has not yet been adopted.
You may request deletion at any time by emailing info@bulicano.com. We will act on verified requests subject to information we must retain for a legal obligation or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
7. Security
We take reasonable administrative and technical steps appropriate to this pre-launch survey and rely on the access controls made available by our hosting and storage providers. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Your choices and requests
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, ask us to correct or update it, withdraw consent, object to optional communications, or request deletion. Email info@bulicano.com from the address used in the survey where possible. We may ask for enough information to verify the request and protect the response from unauthorised access.
9. Cookies and analytics
The current public website code does not set non-essential cookies and does not include analytics or advertising pixels. Providers may still process basic technical request information needed to deliver and protect the site. If we add analytics, advertising technology or non-essential cookies later, we will update this policy and provide any notice or choice required at that time.
10. Children’s privacy
The survey is intended for adults making or influencing household grocery decisions. If you are under 18, please do not submit the survey or personal information; ask a parent or guardian to participate instead. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted information can contact us to request its deletion.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy if the website, survey, service providers or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through an appropriate additional notice.
